Mysterious Designs - Smoke Machine

Hi, there!

Welp, spooky days are here again and with that comes fun things for all of us to create our Halloween-y displays. And today, I want to share with you a MUST HAVE - the Mysterious Designs SMOKE MACHINE! 

The Smoke Machine come with light, dark, green, orange and red smoke as well as an option to change the "smoke" picture/particle to anything else you'd like! Just drop your own pic in either the light or dark smoke machine's Contents tab and you can create all kinds of thpookiness! What I absolutely LOVE about this smoke machine is how well the "smoke" shows up in my photos. Above is just one of many photos I've taken with my smoke machine to add such a great effect in-world without having to do anything in post/Photoshop after the photo is taken.

It's a Rainy Day - Hazeel Poses

 

Do you love cozy, cool, rainy Autumn evenings as much as I do? There's just something about the smell of wet, freshly-fallen leaves and the way the light mist gently falls on your face - until you manage to get that umbrella up in the breeze! I just LOVE that. And if you love rainy days - Autumn or otherwise - then do I have something for you!

This is one of FOUR poses included in the "It's a Rainy Day" pose pack by Hazeel Poses. Guys, I fell in love with Hazeel Poses months ago when I discovered how thoroughly they develop and package their poses. You get the poses as animations, as rezz-able objects AND in a really handy HUD. And something SO awesome like in this pose pack, not only did it come with an umbrella already positioned for each pose, but a TRANSFER umbrella positioned for each pose to give to someone else if you're photographing them!

Natures Best - Hazeel Poses

Hiya', friends!

Ok, so in my last post I was all bummed out because I just wasn't ready to let summer go. I still kinda' feel that way, but this adorable set of Fall poses from Hazeel got me feeling Fall-ish finally. 

The pose set is called NATURES BEST and comes with four poses. You know what I LOVE about Hazeel's poses? The optionsssssssss!!! 

For instance, this pose set comes with a prop tree WITH the poses already IN it! Just plop it down, click SIT HERE and BAM! Just like sitting on a piece of furniture, a menu will pop up where you can choose your pose AND it has an adjust menu as well. Not only that, the tree is MOD, so if any little adjustments need to be made, you're good to go. It will, ofc, show as NO MOD in your inventory because the scripts inside are no mod, but you know how that goes. And on top of the poses already there in the prop tree, Hazeel also includes individual pose "cubes"/objects you can rezz separately if you want as well as the regular pose animations if you want to go that route. But wait! There's MORE! They also include a HUD you can wear without sitting on the tree and you can cycle through the pose set that way, too! 

You can find Natures Best and tons of other great poses at their mainstore or on marketplace. Also, keep an eye out each week for the event Slept On Sales (S.O.S.). Hazeel very often participates and you'll find they put out awesome poses for this event.

Fall? Not for me.

 It's always Spring in my head.

I know. I know. It's officially Fall. Pumpkin Spice this and Pumpkin Spice that. And if you are like most people, you love Fall. Me? I'm more of a Spring/Summer kinda' girl. So while you guys are out shopping for Autumn decor and picking apples or searching for the perfect pumpkin, I'll be up here in my own little Spring garden planting colorful flowers and feeling the warm breeze in my hair.

I think this Ruin Garden from Mysterious Designs was the PERFECT choice as the focal point of my new little garden spot. The beautiful rounded arch and stone ruins are easy to see in this pic. But what you might not notice right off the bat is that there is a stone staircase behind the arch that leads up to a stone terrace above the pretty pergola! I cannot WAIT to find the perfect furnishings to complete this little piece of heaven. It will make the BEST photo spot - even if everyone else's pics will have Fall foliage in theirs.

Dreamd is a Reality!

Phew! The last few weeks have been a little crazeeeeeeee in my world. Unexpected things have popped up in RL and SL and I've been doing everything I could to keep up, but despite my best efforts, not everything got the attention it deserved. And that kind of stuff makes me nuts. >.<

Anyhoo, I've been putting together something fun for myself that I can't wait to share with you guys as well. I've made an art gallery to display some of my digital art pieces. Why the Happy Dance?

"Why the Happy Dance?" you ask?

Well, it's because I finally found the PERFECT pool and fence surround for a project I'm working on!

I needed a swimming pool with a darker tone that looked chic - and I found this jaw-dropping glass panels kit at the same place! BAM!

Both items come from Mysterious Designs. The pool is the "Swimming Pool Dark v1.0" that comes with a VERY handy rezzer AND an extra tiled platform you can use to help with the pool depth in-ground if needed (I used it as a tiled patio!). The pool has a lovely wall at the far end with a water feature and planters that hold a few plants - but of course I plan to add more! I love me some outdoor plants, y'all.

MD has a few options when it comes to fencing - all are gorgeous. For this build, I used the "Gold Glass Pack v1.3" (there's also a silver one) and made the swinging door you see in the pic by resizing one of the glass panels and adding some of the extra gold glass clips Glen includes in the kit purchase. Then I just threw in a basic door script and BAM! the perfect pool surround to keep lil' Bryan safe. :))

Welp, that's news for now. My lil' pupper and I are off to sort through my inventory and find that patio furniture I've been dying to put out...wherever it is in there. >.<
