When he gets here...

 

I got a call telling me he was about an hour away. He's been gone longer than usual this trip and I've missed him more and more every day. 

I'm glad he's finally headed home. 

After pulling out all the ingredients needed for a really great Welcome Home dinner, I arranged for Myysti and Bryan to head over to Auntie Sunny's house for the night. We all missed him, but I missed him the most and I need him all to myself for a little bit.

Not having a ton of time to waste, I looked in my closet for that cute little dress from LRD I picked up at the Unik Event. I wanted that casual, sexy look and this little dress fit the bill. I love the way it drapes over my hips and hugs my curves in all the right places. 

Since Spring is in the air around Huatulco, I found the flower crown I bought from Tentacio this weekend and placed it carefully on my head. Wearing just my little slip of a dress, my flower crown and a pretty necklace from Supernatural (also a fun weekend sale find), I whipped up a delicious vegetarian feta pasta Syx loves, then loaded the SUV for a short trip over to the North side of the beach and sent Syx a text telling him where to meet me once he got home. 

I quickly set out a sumptuous picnic spread right in the middle of one of the gorgeous flower fields by the old iglesia. Syx arrived right on time and we enjoyed dinner and wine while watching the setting sun give way to a sky full of bright, twinkling stars. He was tired from his trip, so we took a little nap there on the picnic blanket...
