This boat.

I needed to take a break from working today, so I took the ol' girl out for a sail a couple hours.

This boat means a lot to me. It was this boat Syx used to rescue me and whisk me to safety all those years ago. It was this boat aboard which I learned, rather hurriedly, how to crew. And it was this boat aboard which Syx learned my darkest secret, then devised a plan to deliver me from its perilous clutches. It was this boat that kept us safe during a nerve-wracking two-week journey to a safe place; she weathered treacherous seas and tumultuous storms. She sheltered us from days of torturous heat and a few very chilly and pitch dark, foggy nights.

It was on this boat where I realized my heart would be his forever.

At the Office

Today, I spent time setting up the new rental office for Ilha do Sol - our newest sims project. This go 'round, we're highlighting the beauty of living and playing on the beautiful coast of Portugal - and it's Coming Soon! 

Syx and I have received many requests for rental opportunities on the sims we created in the past. Syx has been out of the rental business for a while now, but we talked. Since there's interest, we decided to include a few rental opportunities in this new destination project. Not only homes, but short-term surf camp beach rentals will be available for this build!

Can't wait to share it with you guys.

Spring Cleaning. And Shopping.

I took a break from driving Syx crazy as he gets the new sims ready with their new theme and swung by Anthem to do some shopping. I picked up this GORGEOUS new hairstyle from Stealthic called Metropolis. Then I just spent the evening putting together this outfit to wear with my "new do". Don't you just love those relaxing times when you just go shopping in your own inventory to put a look together? 

Trying to maintain a somewhat organized inventory REALLY pays off when it's time to go back in and actually FIND things you've bought and maybe not yet worn. I struggle with having too many things in my inventory. It really CAN affect your overall experience in SL and how well your viewer performs. I tested that theory with two alts that have very little in theirs versus mine. My viewer performed MUCH better with the alt accounts with the small inventories! 

So if you've been putting off that inventory Spring cleaning, I urge you to DO IT! You'll feel lighter and you may just gain a bit of performance to boot!

I am SO SO SO in love with these new bracelets from NaaNaa's! The Casandra Hand Accessories come in both left- and right-hand versions. The fatpack contains so many metal and gem choices, it will surely go with any outfit you'd like to pair it with. I chose gold with white gems to go with this A D O R A B L E mini dress from LRD. The Nova dress fatpack was SO fun to play with because it has a TON of solid and print colors to choose from. I just HAD to run downstairs to tell you guys about these finds before heading off to work on our new sims project!
