Bith at Cosmopolitan

 

I am so excited because the new round of Cosmopolitan opens today! Have you seen the gallery? Lots of gorgeous items in this round. And one that I got my hands on early is this delicate necklace set called BITH by Naa Naa's Accessories (blogging has such great perks)! The fatpack contains several metal and neck ribbon color choices. I paired it with this asymmetric dress from CoCo I purchased at Uber over the weekend. 

It was fun putting on makeup for once. Being a surf bum and mom of a two year old, I don't wear makeup nearly as much as I used to. Now I remember why I have so much of it. I love playing with it! My eye makeup is Poema and my lips are LuxRebel - two of my most favorite go-to's. I think I've shopped all the events and I made the rounds at SL18B... anyone know of anything else I need to go check out?!

Opposites Attract

One of my favorite things to do when putting together an outfit is to pair "opposites"; dressy things with casual things, etc. Today I paired a lacy bustier top with a pair of totally destroyed jeans, then added a fancy, glittery pair of heels and a sparkly watch to the mix. I love how it turned out!

Slow your roll, buddy!

Today was a super fun day. Baby Bryan is getting big enough to learn  to swim and surf. Of course, HE thinks he can swim already and he's ready for real surfing lessons. 

Not yet, lil' 6. Not yet.

I kind of  faked him out and pretended we were having a surf lesson. Basically, I just let him sit on his little board and splash around. We'll let Daddy do the REAL surf lessons when the time is right.

Only One More Left!

Syx and I are SO happy so many have chosen to call Ilha do Sol home! I wish there were an infinite number of prims available so we could have even MORE rentals. We've only been open a couple months and already so many regulars are making it feel like a new family here! I wanted to let folks know we have one rental left. It's $200L per week / 100 prims and it's set on the cliff with a gorgeous view! To rent it, just pay the rental panel located at the back of the tent. After this last unit has rented, you can add your name to the waiting list (just send me a nc) and we'll let you know as soon as a unit becomes available. You'll also find our Subscrib-O panels in a few spots around the sim you can subscribe and keep up with what's going on around Ilha do Sol without using up a group spot. And as always, you're welcome to join our Monkey Cove Surfers group that's been around for a loooooong, LONG time. We always post what we've been up to to this group of our surfing friends.

Today I'm wearing the cutest accessory from Naa Naa's Elegant Pearl Hairclips collection! What's even better is that the set includes all kinds of fun shapes. I'm wearing "Queen" (reasons obvi, LOL), but there's also a  circle shape, heart, rectangle and star. I love the HUD with so many metal color choices AND you can change the colors of the large and small pearls separately which make matching any outfit you'd like to wear with these a breeze! New Necklace Set from Naa Naa's Accessories!

This lovely necklace set from Naa Naa’s Accessories is super versatile! You can hide either of the necklaces (though I don’t know WHY you’d want to do that!) and the HUD is incredible. We’re given SIX metal colors and TWELVE colors for the large links. I’m wearing the pearl color that has a pretty iridescent luster. This necklace set is called “Messy”, but I think it’s neat-o!

I was sorting more inventory (you all know that's a never-ending task of mine) when I came across this dress I'd never unpacked. If memory serves me correctly, this was a gift LAST YEAR from SL17B! Now I am pretty maniacal when it comes to keeping my burgeoning inventory as sorted and tight as I possibly can, so I don't know how this beauty slipped through the cracks. Of course you can't see the BEST part of the dress in this picture, but the "sequins" is animated in such a nice way. With ALM on, it's just mesmerizing. The bustier top and sleeves are sheer and adorned with tiny, delicate flowers. Y'all... I need to go somewhere and be seen in this. It's just too pretty not to share.

A Little Croissant, Anyone?

 

This sweet little dress surprised me. Once again, I came across another treasure while straightening up my inventory. I found a TON of little things that hadn't been opened yet. It's like Christmas in June!!!

The dress is called Croissant and it's by Neve. I believe this was an Uber gift, so I'm not sure about its availability at this time. I paired it with a pair of bootie sandals and a simple necklace. I think it's a sweet, fresh Spring look. I love the metallic straps and belt under the bust.

Yesterday I hopped around a lot of events and weekend sales and somehow couldn't keep my wallet closed. Found this fun boho dress by Silvery K at the Vintage Fair and this gorgeous straight hairstyle with tiny little braids in the front by Rama Salon at Equal 10. Then I just threw on a pair of my favorite cowboy boots and headed to the beach to take a pic near the new tent rentals. I know others do such fabulous work with amazing, realistic lighting, but I really like how this raw shot came out. Now if I could JUST remember which sky setting that was for next time! :O

I found the CUTEST bathing suit at Bombshell this weekend and just had to take a piccy in it. I'm also loving my new Doux hair! And btw... did you guys know Cae is having a store closing sale? Ready for the Beach

After working in the surf shop most of the morning, I was READY to get to the beach. I picked up this super cute swimwear set from Belle Epoque over the weekend and I couldn't wait to try it on. I love the pattern I chose (there were so many pretty ones!) and the fact that there was a matching beach bag was so great! I think this look turned out super cute - thanks to Belle Epoque. I love that store!
